Yeah, that was me you saw reading that engineering book for fun. Got a problem? I think recording lectures and then playing it back in my free time is great. I'm genuinely interested in my classes and I will often do extra just for fun. Oh it's great because all the janitors in Doe and Dwinelle and Wheeler all know my name, since they have had to repeatedly ask me to stop studying and go home at 2:00 am. Whoooo, and lets not forget about HW. I finish all my problem sets way before the due date, because I can't wait to start learning! Yay!!!!
